Help, I have inside leg length of 81.20 cm(32"). Trousers flap round my ankles and mid-length skirts are too short and who invented those silly City shorts? They look silly on any height. Where can i get fashionable trousers other than Long TAll Sally? I am only 5' 7.

I'm probably not as trendy as you nikita, but I like to think I am quite trendy for my age. I have always found that M&S trousers fitted me perfectly. I am 5'8" and used to be 5'9 1.2" (Shrunk with age). I just ordered two pairs of long pinstripe trousers online frm M&S and they come down over my feet and along the floor!!! I now have to sit and hem them. I reckon they would fit someone who is about 6'2".

I used to wear 34" inside leg trousers!

Have you tried Next? There 32" trousers are good value and fashionable.

I do agree with you about Mid length Skirts though. They just aren't long enough and look totally frumpy.

Oops spelling 'their' not 'there'

Hi nikita. I have seldom been able to buy trousers in High Street stores as I have an even longer inside leg than yourself. The attached site provides modern styling, but the inside leg is 36" and may swamp you unless you wear really high heels.

Hi nikita**

I'm 6' so always have a problem with this sort of thing. I buy all my skirts/ trousers/ jeans from Long Tall Sally- 0870 990 6885 http://www.longtallsally.com . They're inside leg for trousers range from 34" to 36", so probably too long for what you're looking for, but their skirts are great lengths. They're a little bit pricey (especially p&p, but the demand is there, I suppose).

Hope this helps x

http://www.tallandall.com/shop.html is okay for the basics.

Oops, I didn't read your post properly. So sorry!

Well, there's www.tallandall.com then

Sorry again nikita**

Hi whiskeysheri, have you ever bought anything online from tallandall? I like some of their dresses, but am wary of using my credit card on a new site without a firm recommendation.
Apologies to nikita for hijacking your question for my own ends.
Hi Drusilla. I haven't bought anything from them myself but they were recommended to me by a friend. Sorry I can't be more helpful x

Hi Nikita,

I have the same problem, 5' 7 with 33" legs, I usually go to Oasis as it does longer length trousers, you may need to go to a larger store or ask to order them (but at least you can try on the regular length for waist size).

Oh, Dorothy Perkins and Topshop's larger stores also have a Tall range which are quite good. New Look sometimes has stuff in for taller girls too. x
Hi, I'm 5'8'' ish and have a 34 inch inside leg and am a size 8-10 and also have a very high waist which makes buying any kind of clothes that haven't been designed for pipe cleaners a complete nightmare.

However, I too have found M&S ok for skirts and dresses and their trousers are okay too.

For jeans and stuff my hubby gets them for me from the GAP store in NY. I don't know if GAP in UK does the same sizes, but if they do, i'm sure they'll be long enough. I buy size 4 Long and sometimes they are a little too long which means I can tumble dry them which is ace because then they fit perfectly.

Wish you well.

I shall be checking out some of these sites other's have listed too I've never heard of them before. COol!

Thanks for all your help. It is a good start to get looking for those ideal trousers.
Hi, Go onto ebay (or if you can afford it, the actual real shops) and buy some diesels or miss sixties. I am really tiny 5' and can get em in a 30" inside leg and my friend is really tall and gets them in a 34" inside leg. She had to take up one pair cos they were 36". The both do jeans and ordinary trousers and they have many many many variations. I suggest the "hush" model from Diesel as they are very sexy. (I know lots of people don't like to ebay for clothes but if theyre new with tags and 1/10 of the real price....)
