I had the smart idea of leaving cute notes in my boyfriends pocket for him to find later. When he went to the bathroom i got out of bed and went to put a note in his wallet which was in his trouser pocket. But heard him coming from the bathroom, so jumped back into bed without putting the note in. He thought I'd been rifling through his wallet, though he didnt say much at the time. But when I realised this is what he thought I confessed what i was doing, but i've braely spoken to him since....is it a lost cause?

Why didn't you just show him the note, which was presumably still in your hand?

You should have done what I did.

I made up my husbands sandwiches and put a note in the sandwich telling him the delights I had in store for him that night. How was I to know they swapped sandwiches and someone else was regaled with what he was getting for dessert:).

Course its not a lost cause - just put another note somewhere else.Cant understand why you're not barely talking to him when he doesnt seem to be bothered.

Just lighten up - lifes too short:)

yes, why didn't you show him the note?

and if you are doing this, why hasn't he found any of the other notes you left?

sounds like you got caught snooping, and are trying to cover up...

whatever you were doing, a wallet is a mans private thing and you had not right to go in it - leaving cute notes does not excuse the invasion of his personal belongings.

how would you feel if you found him rummaging your knicker draw or in your handbag?
i wouldn't care what he was doing, he shouldn't be in there.

why didn't you just put it in his pocket?

and how long does it take to shove a note into a wallet anyway - 5 seconds? 10 seconds? not as long as the average toilet visit thats for sure.

i am not surprised he doesn't believe you.

apolgies for sounding harsh above, i mean what i say but don't want to have a go at you, but one of my pet peeves is people being 'over familiar' and not respecting my privacy - they think its allowed because they are my boyfriend or family.

I can understand everyone's point about not showing him the note, the simple answer is I was caught off guard, and yes I did have the note in my hand, but felt a bit stupid so didnt show him (and didn't think at an issue at the time). As for not putting it in his pocket, his mum does his washing and i didn't want her to come across the note, for the record I wasn't snooping - we'd been friends for 3 years before we got together so I do already know pretty much everything these is to know about him. I had no need to discover things I didn't already know.
