Have you been to see your G.P rmassey? My friend suffered throughout her teens and when she went to the doctor he put her on some tablets and gave her this stuff to wipe over her face and the acne cleared up loads. They didn't all go away but she looked and felt so much better. Good luck x

Hello rmassey. I hope the attached site helps.

There are loads of products on the market that can help with acne now and speaking to your GP is definately a good idea. Also, some other advice (without trying to sound patrionising) is to try and keep your hands off your face, for example sitting with your chin in your hand or rubbing the troubled areas. Also, try and keep a good diet. whenever I cut out the fatty foods and chocs for a period of time there is a noticable difference. It doesn't get rid of acne, but it helps.
Wash your face morning and evening with something like Clearasil. Also change your pillowcase every few days and turn it over so you're not sleeping on the same bit. As milly143 said, don't touch your face. Oxy On The Spot cream can help. But for a faster effective way visiting your GP is definitely the way to go. A course of tablets can really help and there's this liquid called Erythromycin that you might be given which you dab on the spots and is stronger than creams you can buy in shops.
If it's getting you down as much as I think it is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go to see your doctor. It may be a longish process but you can ask to be reffered to a hospital specialist who really knows their stuff. a great treatment is Roaccutane which is taken orally but you can only get it from a hospital consultant as bloods have to be monitored carefully - working in a hospital pharmacy I see many patients each week on it and it certainly seems to work - can't see any acne on them!! Good luck and don't let it get you down X X
