What old fashions would you really like to see come back? I am waiting for earmuffs to be back in fashion to keep my ears warm in the winter :-)

I quite like the old fashioned hand muffs! They save you keep taking your gloves off - but not much use when carrying shopping bags!

I have photo's of me at aged seven, with my hands in a blue silk quilted hand muff - all the other bridesmaids liked them too.

Now hotpants is another story - I loved wearing mine - also my mini skirts - I felt like the bees knees

Leg warmers, footless tights, striped tank tops, loon pants, 28" flairs, oxford bags, penny collars, spats ....

Ooh Andy, Loons - How I loved them with their multi coloured fly buttons!

Unfortunately, all the things I would like to come back would look downright ridiculous on me, i.e. hot pants with midi skirts! So I better stick with Shaney and say 'liberty bodices'.

I hear dresses are coming back in fashion. Oh dear!! I haven't owned a dress for decades and I don't intend to start now.

actually my favourite all time favourite was the black velvet very fitted jacket I bought in 1971 - cost a packet from a very trendy shop. Pinned a little bunch of (fake)cherries to the collar - it really was the fashion believe me!

Most most favourite item was a pair of purple strappy shoes with giant wedges and a huge platform sole. I loved them so much and wore them with hot pants. Considering my height, they must have made me about 6'2"!

Seriously my favourite item was a long suede coat edged with raggy fur stuff which I had in the 70's and wore with flared trousers. I wish I had kept it because they are fashionable again now with that BoHo look. Mind you ...I would only be able to get into one arm now !

why do you have to wait for earmuffs to com back in fashion in order to keep your ears warm? i always wear what i like and don't care a hoot about fashion. whatever i wear, i'm always complimented. i am in my fourties and i still wear some of my clothes i wore when i was a teen.

Because when they come back in fashion they will be in shops for me to buy!
