My mum-in-law (68 yrs) has suffered from Ischium Bursitis for about 8 wks after falling down stairs all the way on her bottom. Has seen Drs and been xrayed, scanned etc. Keeps on taking pain killers. Not much improvement yet but on a long waiting list for physio. Anyone know about this injury re recovery times etc? Should she try and get a steroid injection. She's feeling very frustrated and bored know cos she's normally very active and healthy. Help!!!!!
