last week my husband suffered renal colic caused by a kidney stone. For 2/3 weeks his blood readings have been higher. I feel the two are connected. We mentioned this to the Dr but did not get a satisfactory reply. Anyone else experienced this?

My mother has Type 1 diabetes but suffers from terrible kidney infections which is connected to the diabetes and during the time of the infection, which maybe lasts for about two months sometimes, her blood sugar is higher and the Dr said that this was because of the infection in her body and that it would return to normal when it had cleared up. I hope this helps a little bit and hope that your husband gets well soon.
