what brought you to this site?

just logged on and realised i first joined 1 year ago today - my original search that lead me to here was about a drink from the 80's called wfla, that noone else but me seems to remember (in my head it was a mint flavoured milk, but that can't be right cant it?)

Anyway, my question is, what brought you here, and how long ago?

lol there seems to be a lkot of unanswered queations still ... for the record, nobody had ever heard of wfla either, so im still left wondering if i made it up in a dream or if it was truley a real drink ... however, at least i now know the answer to a lot of questions that i never even knew i wanted to know about untill i read them!

Well mine is kind of sad.. I was doing a search about 3 weeks ago on a sickeness that killed a girl friend of mine while she gave birth..(a few weeks ago she died) and some how the search came to this site at Body & Soul

I really like this site because these are different chat's then I normaly have with people in person. And I have really been learning the difference between UK culture and CND culture, slang, customs and stuff like that.

I hope to be using this crazy site for a while.. its so funny to read..

ive been here about a year the first question was about the names of groups of animals for my daughters homework i love this place and could spend hours on here. Although i have posted some ridiculous questions and someone still insists on giving a totally straight answer to. Which is v amusing.

i was doing a job search and this came up. it turned out to be like a job because i am on AB all the time, i just love it here. it's addictive, i cannot get anything done. i have learned a lot from it and still learning.
i love everyone here. when ever i log on, i always hope that some people are on also, like wiskeysherry, jennykins, zeus, pixi, rowie, cojay sorry i cannot remember everyone. hope to be a member for a long time. i love the internet and technology forum because i learn so, so much. you all are just brilliant. cheers everyone

Even when people do not agree on something it is still very nice to read someone else's opionion and look at it from there point a view.. You guys are a great bunch!!!!! I was wondering the other day how other people found this site!! I did a google for Knorr Pilau Rice Cubes and one of the results was someone on the Food & Drink section of this site asking the exact same question "Where can I buy them?". My local supermarkets have stopped selling them - I still haven't found any, but don't mind too much coz now I come into work and log onto this site first thing every day!! I hope none of my bosses find this hahaha
