When I have a hangover you can remove many of the above activities!!
The alarm goes off at 6:30, I eventually wake up, have a bath or shower depending how much time I've got, brush my teeth, Iron my clothes (because no matter how hard I try, if I get them ready the night before I'll put them on and decide I don't like them, they don't match, they make me look fat, they don't... I'm a woman ok!! ) then I dry my hair, straighten my hair, put on a bit of slap if there's enough time and at 7:30 I'll hop out of the door with one shoe on, my coat hanging off one shoulder and bag strewn over the other, arriving at work at 7:35... 5 mins too late!
Every single day I do that.... I just can't get out of the house for 7:25. :o(
Radio comes on at six, have a cup of tea that dad makes for me, take my pill, drag myself out of bed soon after, have a shower, then cleanse, tone & moisturise! Then it's the make up, hair, teeth, dress. Make sure I've got my train ticket, grab the salad that I made the previous night and two pieces of fruit. Leave the house hopefully between 7.30 and 7.40 else it'll be the late train in!! Get in the car, drive up to the station laughing all the way to Johnny Vaughan on Capital. Park the car, jump out checking it's properly locked and dash down to the station to jump on the train to Liverpool Street. Transfer to underground to get to Great portland Street then walk three mins round the corner to work. Sit at my desk, switch on the computer, go up to canteen to get brekkie then settle back at my desk for day of work and A'Bankering!!!!! What a bl**dy kerfuffle!!
Go to bed
get up at 5.30 (but usually more like 6 after listening to classic FM)
get my children up
feed a husband five little mouths and myself trying not spill any weetabix as it is a real pig to clear up.
make tea and coffee, drink either.
say goodbye to husband
go upstairs and dress 3 little people, shower myself and dress to the shoes (a la flylady)
go downstairs and start all the rest of my routines.....
If I don't do this, the whole rest of the day is spoiled. Sad isn't it.
Wake up at 6.35 but put alarm on snooze.
Finally get in the shower at 7am
Children up not long after
Get children ready, washed and dressed.
Get myself ready, put on face, dry hair and if time run straightners through it.
Tidy round the bedrooms, put washing in basket, squirt bleach round the loo rims, put washing in washer, give children breakfast, tidy round kitchen and leave the house for the school run for 8.30am.
Run back and throw out the cat.

Get up at 6.45, have a wash and pee, get dressed in clothes laid out night before (if I've remembered) otherwise grab whatever needs the least ironing, brush hair, grab coat, bag and gym gear, run across the building to my neighbours at 7.15 for breakfast which is already laid out for me (and has been agreed upon the night before). Yes I know I'm spoilt - but they don't have children and its become an age old tradition! Leave neighbours at 7.30 arrive at the gym at 7.45 work out for an hour, shower, get dressed, blow-dry hair put on a tiny bit of make-up, get the bus into work at 9, and sit down at my desk at 9.30.
Alarm goes of 615am...hit snooze until around 6:40. Toilet....2 shredded wheat...2 slices of toast, glass of juice. Watch tvam whilst eating. Make sandwiches for lunch. Shower, clean teeth, get dressed. Leave for work around 715am.
This routine never changes! Except weekends....have fryup for breakfast. Leave around 830am to do weekly shop.
