Puppy Nose Bleed...

I've got a 10 month old staffie and over the last two weeks she's had 3 nose bleeds. I've only noticed it when she's pushed her nose into my hand and I've seen the blood on my skin. It's very red in colour so it's definately coming from a fresh wound.

She's very lively and when she has her mad hour of the day she's oblivious to furniture being in her way so can be quite rough on herself.

Has anyone else had this problem with their dog? I'm not sure whether I should get her checked out at the vets or whether nose bleeds in dogs are as harmless as they are in people.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks x

This depends on whether the blood is coming from inside her nose, in which case its a vets job, or if it is from the black fleshy bit of her nose, then perhaps she is burying stuff and scraping it or scratching it as she plays rough.. She could be breaking blood vessels inside the nose, but this would need to be checked.
