Does anyone have any duck recipe ideas other than serving it with plum sauce?

i make it with a gorgeous orange sauce.

you make a dark caramel by slowly heating some granulated sugar, allow it to melt. make sure it goes dark and it smells bitter. quickly pour in some orange juice and boil. if it needs thickening add some cornflour...it is gorgeous served in a ramakin at the side and you can dunk your duck in it!! yum!!!

Hi stranger!
I've tried a couple from www.about.com. The Duck Breasts with peppercorn were good, but the Roast Duckling with champagne and orange sauce on page 2 was less successful. I think I overdid the champagne whilst preparing. Hic!!

Mine I do like bellasasha but I stick in a good slug of orange brandy & strips of thin orange peel!

I, on the other hannd, have not tried the plum sauce version & shall try it with glee (With a slug of Slivverwotever - you know the stuff - I just can't spell it)

Duck and fruit - made in heaven. Also takes spices really well - think chinese flavours.
