Spondylitis and Labyrinthitis

I have spondylitis of the 1st and 4 c which gives me limited movement in my neck. I also have excruciating musce spasms in my sternocleidomastoids, splenus capitus and levator scapula in which I cannot turn my neck or move without intense pain. i have been prescribed diazapm, and anti inflammatorys which upet mystomach and pain killers bring on Labyrinthitis but do not kill the pain. what else can I do as it is effecting my work life and daily duties and I get into a panic when crossing the road as I can't always turn around enough to see if anything is coming. i am 42 and have been like this since I was 30 years old.
