Its gonna cost you know matter what. and in more ways than one.

I'd cut up the credit cards to soften the blow. Try watching Blue Peter and make her something out of toilet rolls, sticky back plastic and some pipe cleaners. Like an ornament or something.

I was going to suggest the same. Cut it off with a blunt, rusty pen knife without anaesthetic. That is about the only thing that appeases women in this situation.
