does anyone know who andy hughes is? he always have the right answers and knows what to say. judging from his answers, he seem to be full of life experiences. i think he is one of the most brilliant, if not the smartest on AB. he is so wise and likeable. cheers andy hughes!

I have always found his answers thorough and helpful, even if not particularly my opinion every time. Its a shame if some people can't relate to someone like that. AB is about all sorts of people with all sorts of views, right or wrong. It wouldn't be worth coming on here if not! What has he done wrong? Get off his case taking the pee out of him, sounds like sour grapes to me!!!!! I don't think anyone on here deserves to be spoken about like that.

What if Andy Hughes is a computer generated sprite and is activated by certain words like, problem, lonely,help etc... and he really operates like the death book we all have in the kitchen that convince you you have every ailment in it. Thats what i think really but i only discoverd AB last night. I'm only joking tho, he sounds like a wise man. Would be funny if he's a 9 yr old with common sense tho ha! xx

As far as I know Andy hughes writes for the music scene and has been on AB from day one as he had something to do with it with the original editor. He seems to me like a very nice guy who knows what hes talking about and seems to be honest in what he says.

I like what I know of him and he has always interested me, I would like to read something of his as I feel it'd be a good read. Rock on Andy Hughes!

Hmm hang on a minute, this thread was started as someone admiring another person, why has it diminished into a load of abuse?

Fair enough if you don't agree that Andy is all the nice stuff (how you can base that on his posts alone I dunno?) the main point is, he has helped people thru his posts! How the hell can that be a bad thing?

don't get so excited, this is just my opinion of the responses he has given, i have not agreed with all of them but the manner in which does it......non judgemental and calculating....... isn't this what we all do here? respond to post here in our own way.

i've always liked andy's posts too, i think its a real shame that he doesn't post as often as he used to following his (quite short lived) disappearance and name change last year at some point as he does indeed seem to be able to offer clear, calm answers which offer a great deal of help to those that need it.

on an aside maybe instead of criticising posters chosen topic of discussion others should try limiting themselves to one post stating their opinion be that in agreement or not and leave it at that (the world would be boring if we all thought the same wouldn't it). The arguing that goes on with the more aggressive multiple posting in response to everything that is added does detract from the site and i think will put posters off staying on the site.

Nothing wrong with andy hughes, I almost always agree with what he has to say. "Pull your self together" methodology only works for some people, some of the time and clearly andy knows this and goes down the "compassion first" route, I fail to see what's creepy, arse licking or anything else negative about that, it's just sensible.

I can't believe some of you! You should actually be ashamed! Andy Hughes has always come across to me as one of the most genuine and kind ABers there is! If that is a problem for some of you then you need to take a look in the mirror! I have always found Andy's answers to be informative, direct, caring and helpful. He is honest in his opinions and never abusive or rude. Even if I don't agree with him answers sometimes, I still find that what he says holds valid points and I respect his opinions. He is an AB legend. Every ABer knows who he is and he has been here for as long as I know. I think he answered my first ever thread aswell. I for one like Andy.. and I am sure he doesn't let stupid, envious comments from other ABers bother him.

I like Andy Hughes very much. He has given me some really helpful answers in the past. AB is getting very aggressive lately everybody needs to relaaax. Life is hard enough this is supposed to be a helpful site, not abusive. If people dont have something positive to say about people on this site, who nobody really knows, they should say nothing at all.
