Acrylic nails

Ok ok. I have Acrylic nails...but I love them so I don't want any negative remarks about fake nails please ;)

I went to this new place two weeks ago to get them filled, and now they are starting to have a yellow tint?? The are filled with white tips. This has never happened before. I don't smoke, I didn't put red nail polish on them, and I havent gone tanning. And it's just on the tops, not under the nail. Any other ideas are much appreciated.

i have acrylic nails and LOVE them!! I went to a different place to usual as mine was shut and they went yellowy on the surface, when i went back to my original place they said it could be due to a cheap acrylic used, or you know the finsl coat of clear varnish they put on, the thick stuff? It could be that that was cheap. The only thing i did when mine were yellow was nail varnish remover (acetone free!!!) but of course then the white tips go aswell! You could go back to the shop and see what they say??
