I was scared of The Hulk and for some very strange reason The Burmuda Triangle (had never been on a plane until I was a teenager).

At Christmas time we use to have Jonconoo. these are people who dress up in real devil looking clothes and scare u in your yard as they pass on the streets. i never knew then that they were real people under those costumes until i was a teenager. lol
When I was little I was scared of flushing the toilet at night. I would run back to bed as fast as my little legs would carry me and dive under the covers. I just knew if I didnt get back in bed before the flush stopped 'something' would get me. I was also really scared to have any part of my body hanging over the mattress. I am now nearly 40 and nothings changed lol
Zelda from Terrahawks :-) But then thats not stupid. She was scary.

aka pixi.

u made me laugh :-). as u still afraid of flushing the toilet at night so u have to ensure u use it only daytime.

rats crawling up the toilet whilst i was on it or

as anyone seen the film species where she pulls her spine out whilst she is on the toilet that freaked me out.

Fire - particulalry the house burning down with me asleap in it. No probs there any more though.
don't remember.

lol kevshakry, If I have to go to the loo in the night when I have done I hold the door handle and flush the loo, whip the door open fast as I can, charge out of the toilet flicking the lightswitch as I go past and race back to bed with my heart pounding. No matter how many times I tell myself I am stupid for doing this I just cant help it

sam I remember that scene from species, boy it was scary

When I was very young I used to lye in bed and every night Id hear a dull repetitive beat. Having an active imagination I used to think it was an army of killer ants marching up to my bedroom wanting to kill me. Its only now that Im older I realise that it was actually my pulse I could hear from where I was lying on my ear!

Im a Cyborg.

Nothing scares me.

I was petrified of the street cleaner machines!! I used to think they were going to sweep me up!! And vacuum cleaners too!! I also like pixi could not have anything hanging over the mattress cause I thought something under the bed would get me.

Apparently I was also scared of morris dancers!!!

we used to live in casablanca and the rag and bone man used to terrify me and my brother. other than that daleks and the monsters under the bed
lol pixi I was exactly the same as you! You'll have to get a 'guzzunda' Hope your ok

I was also scared of 'the face' I could see through the shed window....it was a reflection I expect. Cracks in walls terrified me, I thought the house was falling down. There were so many things it's a wonder I'm not barmy....oh erm, well......
Hey pixi! Long time no speak I used to be scared of flushing the school loos, I thought there was a monster in there that would come after me when it heard the flush! And Im still scared of going to the toilet at my boyfriends mums house, shes a medium and is always telling me about the dead people shes seen, I always think that when I open the toilet door theres going to be a ghost waiting outside

I used to have nightmares about the wombles after I saw them on 'Top of the Pops'. I was fine with the animated fluffy creatures on the regular TV show, but the sight of giant ones gave me the heebie jeebies.

The same goes for the guys dressed up as animals in 'Animal Qwackers'

In fact it probably still would give me the shivers...eeek. Mike Batt, I hate you!

when i was little i remember the adults watching the news and the newscasters seemed to talk about the gorrillas quite a lot, they gorrillas were always fighting and shooting people, i was'nt scared but as much as i paid attention when the news came on i could',t for the life of me see any gorrillas, i was more puzzled than frightened.
u all make me laugh. especially afraid of the toilet even after u realize that there is nothing to harm u. :-) pixi u may have to change that toilet as the sound may be so horrible. lmao
My Aunty Rose used to scare the sh!t out of me,whenever she used to come and visit, she`d grab me and sit me on her lap and not let go for ages, she used to smell of and stale biscuits, even though she`s been dead for 20 years...I still think of her whenever I open the biscuit tin and get that biscuity whiff
also talking about been scared of toilets when i was in infant school i used to be terrified of goin to the toilet on my own. i used to think there were monsters and ghost followingme around the corridoors,

Pixi, I hate that.. I hate having my limbs hanging out of the bed and I don't like not having a duvet.. it protects me :o)

When I was a kid I saw an episode of Casualty where this moth flew in an old womans ear when she was sleeping. Since then I have always slept with my hair over my ear so nothing can crawl in. It took my ex 4yrs of sharing a bed with me to realise I did it! Lol.

I hate dolls too... porcelain once or those ventriliquist ones! Ewwww *shudder*.. I used to stay the night at my mates and she would have them on a shelf in her room! Scared the crap out of me!

Once one of our teachers in primary school red us a book called 'The Ankle Grabber'.. it was about a monster that lived under your beds! Great book for kids.. that always scared me after that! :o(
