Ours is a lovely,friendly family run salon though thats been going for 30+ years. I can't stand the pretentious, overpriced ones where all the hairdressers look like barbie dolls!
In answer to your question silver56uk, we use sleevesless gowns. We do have some with sleeves but i prefer not to use them. Don't know why really. Can't explain. Maybe because they're just easier to drape round as opposed to someone putting their arms out, if that makes sense. we also have a Barber on the premisies(sp) and he uses sleeveless too.maybe though, sleeves make it more manly as opposed to a cape which is more feminine.
