hi milly I have never tried laser hair removal, but I go to a clinic for tattoo removal by laser. Heres a price list. I dont know where you are but I know they have a few clinics over the UK. Also the nurse who does my tattoos told me she does her own facial hair removal, apparently it doesnt hurt very much and is very effective
hmm for some reason I thought you had asked how much it costs. Sorry bout that. Think I will just go back to bed :)
I had a reply from Wolf63 the other day who said she had used it, she said it hurts and is expensive but definiteley worth it! she said she had it on her legs a few times and the hairs that do come through are sparse and fine!

I'd try it but i'm such a wuss when it comes to pain!

Thanks Pixi and Caz, actually, the price is a factor too so you helped without even knowing!

I've had IPL (Intensed Pulsed Light) on my armpits and it doesn't hurt much (less than waxing by a long way) - it's a kind sharp but very quick "snap" of pain. And it doesn't hurt much really (depends on your pain threshold I suppose).

For me, I had 6 sessions (approx 250) and it disappeared completely (apart from the odd hair) for a few months and then it started to appear again (thinner and sparser though) so I booked another 6 sessions (approx 130) - I've only been to 4 and again, it disappeared for a while but has started to come back again (grows a lot slower and is still thinner and sparser) so I'll be booking my other 2 sessions soon.

I guess what I'm saying is it DOESN'T REMOVE HAIR PERMANENTLY (in my experience) but it does help if you're really hairy and have to shave every other day - I only shave about once a week now.
