Am I Right To Be Feeling This Way?

Every time you've remember you are playing the game you lose..
So basically you can go for a year not thinking about playing the game, but if for some reason it comes into your head you have lost....
You keep your own score, and its basically just an interesting memory experiment, although once you start playing you will be playing forever...
I think its probably better when it is passed on orally but I'd be interested to know if anyone has heard of this game or anything similar before.

I think if it is explained to you by a friend then its easier to understand, and it is definatley more interesting to those who tend to be a bit more creative say, or into expanding their minds or just plain open minded, although to the people on here who have gone 'shurrup thats rubbish' im not saying you are any of those things I've just written, I think its more likely that the impact (or even understanding) is much lessened by reading it on a message board rather than it being 'passed on' by a mate..
I'm far more interested in where this damn thing comes from... Are there any film references, literature references, if not then is it just word by mouth. which is pretty weird considering how far its travelled.
As far as I know its called simply 'the game'. And the thing about telling someone when you lose you are thinking of it and at that time are more likely to pass it on at that time, which keeps it going I guess.........
