Pregnancy or water infection?

Hi,

I don't know if you can help me, I came off my pill at the end of april, I had a period, 1st May, so technically I'm 15 days into my cycle.

The thing is, I have this need to wee all the time. It feels like something is pressing my bladder, and it feels a bit crampy and painful. It doesn't hurt when I wee, or sting and my wee doesn't smell or look darker.

I suspect it's a water infection - although I've never had one before (plus I drink lots of water anyway).

However, has anyone experienced this in the early few days of pregnancy?

I have a doctors appointment on thursday.

Thanks x

You need to wait and see what the doc diagnoses, it probably is a mild infection, get soem lemon barley water and try that for a few days.

Hi there, I think it maybe unlikely that ur pregnant has you have jus ad a period 15 days ago- even though your right not to rule it out.As people can still have periods who are pergnant.

I have ad a son and wen i was 1month pregnant(wen i first found out) i didnt really feel likegoing to the toilet alot.were in the second month i did - coz thats wen more pressure is put on your bladder

Not to sure bout the water infection though havent had experiance of that hun, but if you say that ur urine is not discoulored or doesnt smell then u may have nothing to worry bout there niether.

It could jus be this fine weather weve been having -if youve drunk more fulids thats making you go more regulary but youve dont the right thing by making a doctors opp straight away to find out either way.

Good luck, hope all is well x

It could just be a change in your hormone levels after coming off the pill - It is common to wee more just before your period due to the change in hormone levels. Usually - but not always - you get some other symptoms with a water infection. Amara xx
