Since working in my new job, I have come across some of the strangest names! The best ones being:

- Innocent Jam (a woman)
- Chuck Fruit (do you think his parents were having a laugh?)
- Jaco van Zyl (I think he's a warlord)
- Pearl Darko (the warlord's femme fatale sidekick)

What weird names have you come across?

Ive also worked in the past with a Mr. Smallbone (rather unfortunate) and a Mr. Longbottom (or Short Ar$e as we liked to call him). Oh, and a Richard Gel. Whenever I passed on his calls to my boss I always referred to him as Dick. :oD

My favourite name was Giovanni Frascona though. It just rolls off the tongue. And HAS to be spoken in an OTT Italian accent!
I know of a girl called Hollie Oake and I went to school with a boy called Zane Gillooly.
Hi Champagne. When I worked in a jewellers, I once took in a repair from a Mr. Sh!tter, lol! He didn't laugh... x

I have come across some strange names too Mrs Sex, Mr Titt, Mrs Wardrobe, Mr Snowball, Mr Earwacker and a Mrs Womble

all are genuine - poor souls!!

Ok - I know that no one is going to believe this one, but I can assure you its true. About 25 years ago there was a lot of local publicity about Avon and Somerset Constabulary's appointment of its first black female police officer. Her name? Adora Dick.

Hi champagne, two from school I remember were Herbert Herbert & felicity Thistlethwaite, and believe it or not a builder I worked with was called Austin Morris

I was actually in love with felicity when I was about 14 but never had the courage to ask her out, hey maybe she's on here and reads this, Felicity, I LOVE YOU, Iv'e said it now, we went to Holland Park School, in London

In my old job I had to phone a guy called Andrew Crapper - I was so nervous that I'd burst out laughing but fortunately he answered my call with his name so I din't have to say it at all!!

Helliebobs youve just reminded me of someone that i used to call he was called Brian Ringer, and he used to answer the "Ringer Here".. Oh we laughed

i used to work with someone called Roger Boys which i always found to be rather unfortunate. I also worked with someone called Hazel Hazel and Donald Donald! I always thought they were quite good names! now my company director is called Pratt!

I know a bloke called george cross, dont know if he has a sister called victoria!!!!!

I have dealt with a customer called Mr Asslikker

I have worked with a Rick Hunt

I went to school with a Richard Bird

I used to know someone called Richard Chinnery

I once booked an act whose support was a kind of poor-man's Liberace. His name was Wayne King. Best of all though, supposedly to ensure no-one confused him with the band leader of the same name, the promotional posters had him listed as "Wayne King the Pianist"

Where I used to work we had a lot of international contacts, so had some weird and wonderful names pop up. My favourite was Mr Elasto Bando (I kid you not!!)
There used to be a journalist on the Rochdale Observor whose by line was *.***** (first name Wayne).
I have been censored! He was called Wayne Anker and his name appeared a W plus his surname.
I used to deal (by Phone) with a Mr Bowe, I was talking to one of his colleagues one day and learned that his first name was Sam (Sam Bowe)

I said it's a good job he isn't a black guy with a name like that his colleaguge said thats the hilarious part he IS a black guy.

What kind of numbskull parents call their offspring Sam when there surname is Bowe?

I had to deal with a woman who worked in a drapery shop, and her name was Annette. Annette Curtan.

My mother knew someone who was called Rose Gardens. And I knew a guy at school whose surname was Lipschitz.

in a previous job i met loads of great named people my favourites were;
Miss Manlove
Buzz Hornet
Polly Parrott
