Why is it that men can't go to the pub for a 'couple' of pints, my other half goes out for a couple of pints it always ends up in a session and as much as I know this at the time I can't help but get all wound up when he comes in rubber and blethering a load of rubbish......is it just me???

I went to the pub last night to watch football.

Had 3 pints and came home.

So it is possible.

Unusual though. It's a social thing. Women spend hours on the phone to each other, men meet up in the pub.

And yes it is possible for you to only have a vouple, only on a school (work) night though, weekends are different...

I think thats half the problem, if he said he was going out and never knew when he would go back I would go out too, but when you say a couple we sit like idiots waiting for you to come home and you never appear till it suits you........i'd like to see the sho on the other foot sometimes....

No, it's not just you. My fella is exactly the same. He gets really soppy too and starts phoning me constantly until 3am. I'm moving in with him soon and I've already made it clear that when he goes out on the 'session' I'm sleeping in the guest bedroom with the door locked! hahaha!

Tracy when he does it go out too with your friends and endeavour to come home after him. Go and do the same thing for a few weeks, guys hate being sat at home waiting for you to get in. I do it all the time go out at 4 ish and come home 12 hours later.

Last time I ended up on all day session, my friend thought it would be funny to put me on the train to liverpool from manchester, rather than back home. And the a$$holes took my wallet! Got my mrs to drive over at 2 am to pick me up, she wasn't best pleased. Ah bless those women who stay in and wait eh ;-)

It is physically impossible to go out and have a "couple" of drinks.

Scientists have proved this using guinea pigs or something.
