Okay, who has the most unique tattoo? Or is it in a very unique place - nothing too obscene though!!

There was a man in the Guinness book of records who had himself decorated like a leopard. He had 98% of his body tattooed. :-O

Yep, there was a programme on about a month ago about things like that - there was a guy called Cat who had his whole face tattooed like a cat (surprisingly enough!) and a lizard guy. I have a tattoo of John Lennon's drawing of his own face - the cartoon doodle thing on the Imagine album. Haven't met anyone else with that yet! Its also unsual as I'm a 21 year old girl who was born 7 months after he was shot - but I was raised on the Beatles!!

Point taken ralph1953 - but on the otherhand, I've lost count of the amount of people I've seen with dolphins on their hips (girls mostly!), or Chinese symbols - and they're probably not sure what it really means! There are actually quite a few tattoo's which are pretty common now.

My hubby has a yin-yang symbol made from dragons on his upper arm - I love it. I have a black 'slash' revealing a green flower unerneath on the outside of my calf - not as unique but different enough......and not that painful.

If your meaning just among the users of the site i think i might be in the running....i have a tattoo of the four note riff from Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd which i designed to be musically correct myself on my forearm.

i have a reverse tribal (the dragons are white and the background is black) covering my left arm from the cuff to the base of my neck and around my chest and back. cost loads, took ages and hurt like hell around the nipple.

Although it is cool to see sites on the web, with people's mad tattoos all over the world - I was actually talking about answerbank people! sft42 - I'm very impressed - not only is that original, it is very very cool!! And your's sounds good snotmonkey - any colour kills, but black really hurts doesn't it?

Nothing unique... I have a centaur on my arm - us Sagitarreans being very wunnerful people, I thought it was a nice thing to shout about. Now - 20 years later - I'm thinking about getting a tattoo on my chest... avoiding the nipples... is this a particularly painful part of the body to tatt?

Hi Mikewith - I like the centaur thing, mythical creatures are great. I don't think the chest would be that painful - as long as you did avoid the nipples. Most painful has gotta be the small of the back - too many nerve endings, or anywhere with a lot of bone. I'm quite a slim girl, so my tattoo went onto the bone of my shoulder blade - ow!!!!!
