Recession Risk As Britain Reels From...

Help! I've just started drinking the recommended 8 glasses of water a day(aswell as not having caffeine, eating more fruit etc to get a bit healthier for the summer). I thought drinking water was supposed to cleanse you and help you have better skin - but since I've been drinking it, I've turned into a spot monster!! I've had a massive zit attack on my face and I even have some on my arms and shoulder!! Is this just because my body is flushing itself out or am I actually a spot monster!! Has anyone else done the water drinking thing and noticed the same? I'm not a dirty person - I shower at least once a day (i commute to London and don't like being grubby after using the tubes so sometimes shower twice!!) so it can't be that, and I'm not getting my period anytime soon so I can only think it's to do with the water!! Any words of wisdom from my fellow ABers?

I have always had a bad skin with dark circles under my eyes (I sound lovely don't I lol) but since drinking 2 litres of plain water a day I swear I have noticed a huge difference.
Top tip for making sure you drink 2 litres a day is to buy yourself a 2 litre jug (maybe a nice picnic plastic jug that are all around at the mo) and make sure its filled every morning and you finish it by the evening.
I have done this and found it much easier than counting the glasses.
Stick with the water and you will see results.
