hi all, seein a osteopath tomorrow for my shoulder problem.... what can i expect?? know idea what i'm letting myself in for.... will they crack my bones!?!?!

you are in for a treat - i love going to the osteopath to get my back cracked into shape, obviously i don't know what your condition is or what exactly they will do to you but expect some bone clicking and uncomfortable positions when the treatment is taking place but a great feeling when its done (i hope)

and be prepared for some aches for a few days afterwards. Not dreadful aches but noticeable. The osteo may well tell you to take things easy for a couple of days. But then again, depends on the problem and the osteopath. Most are quite gentle.

I've never had aches, though I know others have. Some osteopaths crack and crunch (most chiropractors do too) but some just nudge and tweak and massage.
