Assisted Dying, Here's Where It...
News1 min ago
My mother suffers from MS & is wheelchair bound. Recently she was advised by an NHS Consultant to go for hyperbaric treatment for a vascular problem, but told at the same time that the NHS treatment center could not accommodate her because of the wheelchair. As a result she was told to go to a private unit over 25 miles away, but was refused patient transport because it was not NHS!!!
My father wants to now claim reasonable car expenses (they are both retired with basic benefits/pensions) for their 20 trips to the center.
Can anyone working for the NHS tell me what your mileage rate is so Dad can put in a realistic claim?
Many thanks.
