squat thrusts and bench presses are good throw in a few pelvic thrusts for good measure to tone up your lower regions good luck
table tennis. you could play doubles against two beavers
canoeing is another it tones up your pecs. but id steer clear of trampolining and skipping as seriuos injury and bruising can occur.

Hi Helen,

The best you can do with exercise for your chest muscles is to do push-ups, bench press, incline chest flys. You will build a nice chest muscle making a nice shape at the top of your breast and a line down your sternum making a very nice cleave line. If you truly can not handle your breast going south then talk to a Dr about getting a lift done. Just because we become moms does not mean we should lose or sex apeal..lol

You go gurl!!! get your self a sexy chest lol

This is to a breast feeding mom, from a breast feeding mom and Personal Trainer.

Good luck

But would these exercises work Jennykins if you're big busted? I have the same prob as helen but im a 36g and fighting a losing battle!!

Helen - isn't the body cruel after childbirth!

Helen - I've had 2 kids and mine obviously went bigger and remained that way.Your body and skin are not designed to hold the weight of boobs and no amount of toning and exercise will help - hate to be the sword of damascus but they will - like mine remain saggy and continue their journey south(:

On the bright side - buy a bra a size smaller and squeeze them in and you have a magnificent cleavage:)

you can't prevent the droop. Breast tissue cannot be firmed up in any way, it's glandular, not muscular. The very best you can hope for is to gain a little lift by firming and toning the pectoral muscle which lies under the breast itself. The excercises Jenny et al suggest will help a little, tho if you have large breasts, you will not notice any appreciable difference at all. Nothing will stop or fix the droop, breasts are just not made that way. If you really can't live with droopiness, the only solution is surgery.

I know that building the muscle will not firm the breast fat .. It will help to give the breast a better look and shape under, on top and behing the saggy fat tissue.. and when wearing a bathing suit or a low top your chest will look nicer.. Anything looks better with proper toning. And helen dont forget there is breast lift's done everyday .. And if your breast are really bad you can apply to get the surgery covered by medical. Maybe..in the UK.. You can in British Columbia. Good luck..

PinkFizz, Im sorry to say but your breast with that size would need a lift and a reduction done.. And again this is something that many many women do after having a couple children. Good luck to you also...

Jenxx

i have to disagree with drisgirl. I had my son 4 years ago and breastfed for a year and got quite depressed about the state of my breasts. My boobs have now regained their shape and are really quite firm.

They still flop when i lie down but generally i am happy with them.

i had him 4 yrs ago too i was dd before and firm then went to a g then back to dd but they dont look so good. jenny - i will try ur suggestionbut about the boob job dont they have to move ur nipples and cut u down the middle which leaves a scar? im not good with scars!!!!

thanks everyone for ur suggestions - apart from beaver guy!!!!!!!

Hello Helen, Yes getting the surgery will leave a bit of a scar.. If you use what kind of creams Dr. tells you to use and keep the scars from any sort of sun tanning for at least 3 months... You can almost make the scars invisable. I have seen it my self on many other girls. And yes they do move your nipple.. but dont worry, they move it to a good place.. lol..

Take care Helen..

glamapuss - I was merely giving my honest opinion with my experience.I dont feel there is any point in giving people false hope.If your boobs went back - then I'm chuffed for you.If you read the size helen went to and has ended up with - then thats what happened with me.

As everyone knows boobs arent muscles so you cant do anything with large heavy breast apart from surgery.I also have considered a lift and might just do it yet - if I can co-erce the money out of 'him who will be obeyed' until I get the money - shocking I know but he'll maybe like the end result as well.

helen - speak with your GP - scarring fades.I once had a major op which resulted in my neck being slit 3 quarters across - not where you want a scar - no option. It has faded beautifully - stitch ( running one - eek) out in a week and fine now - the body is a master at healing:)
