did anyone else read about the baby boy born in Bristol on the 6-6-6 ??

he was 6lb 6oz at birth and born at 6.59

his parents have named him Damien (Cooper)

ive tried to see a funny side, but there isnt one !

I thought nothing of it... what about when a baby was born 05/05/05 at 5 something.. I dont think the fact that there is the number 6 involved that it should mean anything. Or maybe that kind of stuff I just do not believe in. The parents are proud of there baby as they should be.. and the kid will grow up and so on ....

I read once that 666 is a mistranslation anyway and earlier versions of the bible read 636. Anybody else heard that?

Yes Hermit, I gather the whole 666 thing is a complete misinterpretation and has no satanic connotation. But who am I to prevent others from getting shriekingly excited about it?!

Very true Backdrifter. I think I've realised the funny side to the story tho. The parents probably got paid good money by some paper and really plan to call him Gordon or something. They were probably paid �666

don't worry about it funky, the devil aint real. I thought it was quite amusing and a very fitting name. They obviously like the name anyway.It'll always be a talking point for the kid! He may turn out to be a proper angel.
