Sorry, this isn't a question, but the other day I posted a question about tanning moisterisers and someone commented that you have to be careful using the Johnson's one as it cancels out the effect of UPV sunscreen and you might burn. I thought I'd check it out with Johnson & Johnson and here is their response:

Thank you for your recent email regarding our Johnson's\ Holiday Skin. I can confirm that this product does not negate the effect of sun lotions/creams. We would just recommend that you apply the lotions at separate times for example the sun protection lotion in the morning and holiday skin in the evening so that they do not combine with one another and leave an uneven coverage.

So, it looks like we're safe to continue using both.

Thanks Karen. By the way, I bought the Nivea one as it was on offer and it smells quite nice, unlike Johnsons Seems to work OK as well.

Thought anyone reading this thread might like to know that I tried the Loreal one and it worked fab though was a bit more expensive �6.99 a bottle, and also the Dove one which made my nails so yellow it looked like I smoked 80 rolly's a day even though I washed them straight after use. It also made my legs really streaky even though I had exfoliated been very careful, a friend of mine also had this problem with the Dove one.

Karen it was me who told u about the johnson';s problem and it haoppened to my daughter in Antigua in march, the skin on her arms literally lifted away in patches, that was because she used the johnsons as a moisturiser before applying the Nivea sunscreen. I get what Johnson's have said in their commnication but maybe they should put it on the bottle.:)

Sorry I've only just seen your response. Hope you see this. Sounds awful what happened to your daughter. I guess Johnson's do test these sorts of creams,but perhaps you should contact them to tell them what happened to your daughter. Sounds like she had a nasty reaction to both creams mixed together.
