However, I will say I really dislike celebrity names with a vengeance. Britney, Sienna, etc. etc. They will so date the poor kids when they reach adulthood!! I prefer names that are timeless.
ust think of the names that were fashionable when my grandma was born - Ethel, aggie, etc. etc. and then in my mothers generation phyllis, joan, gladys, harold etc: and my own generation Brenda, Sandra, Brian etc. They can all pinpoint your age. I am not saying they are names I hate by the way.

It's a shame that names can put kids into a 'type'. I hesitate to use the word 'class'. Thats why I think good plain old fashioned names like (Katherine, Jane, Sarah, James, Edward, William) are so much better. As they grow up the kids will not automatically be labelled as to their background.
