before you spend your money try using a glove you scrub your body with.. A SOFT ONE..lol.. and just do gentle curcles.. serious it works! Pores get cloged and dialated because of not getting all the dirt /make up off right everyday. Just giving a good scrub with a good cleanser is good enough. I just washed my face in the shower about 15 mins ago and MY SKIN IS SOOOOOOOOOO SMOOOOOOOOTH.lololol and pore are shut!!!! Good luck!!!
Get some Boots cold cream and night and morning smear this on your face ..take a clean face flannel ...slightly rough (in other words don't use fabric softener on your flannels) wring it out in as hot a water as you can bear and remove all the cream. .Keep wetting and wringing the flannel out until all the cream is gone. Don't dab...rub gently in circular movements.Get a bottle of Witch Zingy Fresh Toner and cleanse your face again with this.
Use a fresh flannel everytime though and boil the used ones !
Not trying to sound boastful but I am 58 and still have good skin for my age and have been doing the cream and flannel routine for years.
I'm 36 and have PCOS. One of the symptoms is oily skin and acne. Over the years I've really battered my skin to try and get rid of the oilyness and now I'm left with rosacea and visible pores all over my face.
My GP gave me Metrogel for the Rosacea and it works a treat, and she told me not to buy fancy moisturisers, just to use Aqueous Cream (about 2 for a big tub in Superdrug!) and it is good.
However the only thing that I find helps the pores problem is Dermalogica Microfoliant.
I use either Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish or Dermalogica Ultracalming cleanser, with a muslin cloth, and then use Microfoliant afterwards. Then I use Dermalogica Soothing Protection Spray and then Aqueous Cream, at day and night.
It sounds like a lot of hassle but as I get older I've found that I need to make more effort!
Microfoliant is not cheap but if you check out some of the online stores, you can get Dermalogica much cheaper, I use a place called jerseybeauty - its free delivery and I think it's cheaper than most.
Good luck.
