the pill?

Hi there.
I am an 18 year old girl and have realised that during my holidays this summer i will have my period. (grr!) ive decided that the best option would be to go on the combined pill, but how do i ask my doctor for this, as im not having sex?! Also, what questions will the doctor ask me?

Just tell your doc your going on hols with b/f and cos you suffer from heavy periods don't want your hols ruining. I did this last year as I knew my P would fall bang in middle of a one-week hol. Doc obliged and gave me mini-pill (and I'm 46!) it worked a treat. Started taking it day before hols, and took my last one on the day I few back. You 'come on' about 3 - 4 days after that. Your doc won't know if you're having sex or not - likely he/she won't even ask.
