any good ideas out their apart from tablets, nasel sprays etc, which will make my hayfever bearable

However, my hubby came back from his hearing clinic today having seen an ad there for a nasal douche. It has a special combination of salts and flushes up one side of your nose and down the other. Gets rid of all the crud in your sinuses. Apparently it's quite painless and not too uncomfortable, so as as soon as I get some money (they're about �15) I'm going to get one and have a go.

Hi laurence2. Do you just take the tablets that you get over the counter or have you been prescribed them by your GP. My hayfever was terrible last year and those little tablets were doing absolutely nothing so I saw my GP and he diagnosed me a much higher dose. I now take 180mg (18 times the normal ones) which don't make me drowsy or have any side effects and make my hayfever much more bearable. It hasn't gone completely but I can certainly live with it now!!
