Who to ? the slug? he did and left him where he was....:)

Uuurrrggg gag - rather you than me Patricia!!!!

I often find slugs trails first thing in the morning going from our back door to underneath the tumble dryer in the utility room. I have to confess to throwing a handful of slug pellets underneath it, which keeps them at bay - for a while!

:( I stood on a mouse once ewwwwwww it was dark & i thought I had stood on a tea-bag :( yuke yuke yuke

Urgh - they're soooo gross!!

I've got a real slug phobia!!......They make me freeze, feel physically sick and sweaty!!....Don't know what I thinks going to happen, hardly like they're goona jump up and go for the throat!

The worst thing is we get them all the time here - summer and winter - old damp house I suppose. It's taken me years to get used to them - I don't freeze anymore but I still fell sick and sweaty.

I can't go to sleep knowing there's one in the house - I have to make my husband come and put it outside - he won't kill them, but I think we should have a carpet made of salt!!

A xXx

Hi Trish!..Omg! I don't mind seeking out the little b*****s in my garden, and hand picking them out for immediate destruction!....But...foot going on them???...Eeek! ...
yuck!! thats gross! Mind you, could be worse - I came through the loung in the dark one winter morning, and stood on something wet and swishy, put light on and it was the insides of a mouse that my cat had gutted - I nearly threw up on the spot.

I pick them up with a double layer of kitchen towel and put them in a freezer bag. Then in the outside bin. I collected seven slugs one wet May morning in my garden. They were eating the bits of fat that had fallen from the fat balls on the bird feeders. You just get used to it. I wouldn't pick up doggy droppings though! Needless to say I don't have a dog!

Odm...

I have a large clump on hostas right outside my kitchen door so every slug in the area makes a beeline for them. I find lots of them on the path in the early morning so I just pick them up and put them on the bird table which has just been awarded an Egon Ronay star for the best cafe in town ! Occasionally one of the big brown slugs about three inches long arrives and the magpies enjoy their "breakfast steak".
