I'm not even sure why I'm not sure, if you see what I mean. By the way, I love the fact that the question-poser wants cancer gone then wants to avoid walking - thus setting us on the road to unfitness, obesity and bowel cancer! Nice opposing logic there.
Intolerance would be high on my list of things to go. But lurking at the back of my mind with questions like this is always the idea that we might need the bad things to help make some sense of life.
Blimey. Might be time for me to go home!
I would cure Alkeizmers Disease. It is devastating for those who suffer it and those who care for them. If you are diagnosed with cancer, often there is an end to it. Alkzeimers can continue for years and years and robs the human body and soul of any dignity and personality at all - truly a living death.
I would cure Parkinson's Disease.
My second eldest sister Flo has had this awful disease for a few years now & is getting progressively worse. It is pitiful to watch someone you love so dearly, suffering & trying to get through every day - but she thinks positive for the sake of her children & grandchildren.
I would also like to find a cure for brain & lung tumours/cancers, which have claimed people in my family.
That was honestly the first thing that came to mind...I remember 4 years ago, when I was in the second year of high school, our headteacher asked us to think about what we would wish for if we could have any wish granted and that is what I picked! He then went on and asked a few people what they would wish for (winning the lottery, being famous etc.) and then smugly continued "I bet none of you wished for wisdom, that is what King Solomon wished for..." and then he went into some Biblical story. Personally I think my wish was better!
