I had a few blood tests which showed a high fatty cell count in my liver, 2 months on I've had the tests repeated and its still high, my GP has said as a precaution I should have an ultra scan on my liver... I'm not sure if I should be worried or not?

During the past 2 months I've adapted a new healthy eating regime and have lost a stone and half so far

As far as I am aware, the liver has the ability to repair itself, given half a chance.

I imagine your GP knows what he is doing and the tests may just be to see whether it is indeed repairing itself as it should.

In the meantime keep up the healthy regime.
