I also look like a join the dot book! It's horribal. I was using a spray made by Avon! Its called skin so soft and insects like these hate it! Dont know if it works on Mossies but you could give it a try!
Thanks guys
Posy Jo -How are you? x The repellant spray just isnt working at the moment but funnily enough we thought about trying the toothpaste ! Will give it a try tonight. Im getting on well thankyou in the jungle at the moment its crazy but beautiful !
Pinkiefriend I know its horrible and looking at them makes you even more itchy Im sure its partly psychological ! I hope yours are fading now x
I don't get bitten by anything as apparently I have slightly more acidic skin than a lot of people. They don't like really acid skin. The best think is to get one of those Jif squeezy lemons and put the juice on your skin. You shouldn't be bothered by them any more after that. That is, if you don't mind smelling of lemon juice!!
Oil of citronella is a quite effective natural anti-mossie repellant, it is usually possible to get this stuff in most countries from pharmacies or health care shops etc...
You could also try oil of the neem tree which is a very good repellant, but where the citronella smells lemony and quite nice the neem smells bl**dy awfull.
