wisdom teeth

How likely is it that a person never gets wisdom teeth (either at all or breaking the skin)?

i started to get my wisdom teeth when i was 16 there arnt suppose to come through until your arounf 21 sorry dont no the answer to your question1 ;o)

i had molar teeth removed when i was 13 to make way for my amzingly huge wisdom teeth which don't appear to have the slightest interest in popping out to say hello (i'm 33) bu**er probably jinxed myself now!

although one is bigger than the other one has come through faster

my mum doesnt have any (that have come through that is, and she is 44). Quite often they spend a few years coming in and out for some reason.

I'm 46 and my wisdom teeth never came through therefore never gave me any bother. On x-rays they are sat there in my gums but have never broke the skin. My dentist reckons its highly unlkely the'll ever come down now. Hope that helps.

Quite likely I would imagine. Although partial eruption would be more likely.It is rare for people to not have any wisdom teeth ,so they are either completely or partially impacted. Completely means that there teeth will always remain below the gum. This could be because they are positioned at an angle and maybe growin into the 3rd molar or away from it. Often they cant grow up due to overcrowding in the mouth, apparently due to cavemans diet, the molars would easily be warn away, hence the need for these teeth but due to modern living we do not have this space in our mouths anymore as we generally have all our original molars intact.
