But anyway yer I saw that about the 12yr old but the poor little baby is very ill and I wouldnt wish that on anyone no matter what there age. Oh and thanks for my stars :-)

Its a shame that a child so young can find herself in such a situation. Something went wrong somewhere with her education or the way her parents brought her up. But whats done is done and I hope that the outcome is good and that the baby suffers no long term effects and is brought up in a loving and stable enviroment.

No it is not me. For you information at 12 I was in Prague in a lovely bording scholl run by nuns.I hadn't even had my first kiss by then.I have never kissed a man by the way.

Today perhaps it is unacceptable to the mob, but there really is no true resolution, as I believe this will always happen - even if only rare.

Roman law (uncle Caesar) gave the minimum age for marriage as that of puberty which was 14 for boys and 12 for girls; these remained the legal age for marriage until the late 19th Century in Britain though that for girls was assumed also to be 14. There is evidence that child marriages were reasonably common in North West England in the 16th century.

It is a cultural perception, but personally I think no-one can consider it ideal.The age of consent in Spain is 13 I believe, so I imagine, as it's a Catholic country, there are many 13 year old girls who are mothers and that were we in Spain this would raise considerably fewer eyebrows than it's doing here. I just hope that the girl and her baby are ok in the end and that they recieve the support they need, rather than out of hand condemnation when none of us really know the whole circumstances behind the events that led up to this.she needs help and support not decrying for choosing to have her child.

her childhood has gone forever, that is the saddest thing.

and for those that are anti abortion I only suggest it as an absolute last option, for the sake of both the children - mother and baby!!!!
