I had PRK seven years ago and whilst it's the best money I've ever spent, I had to start wearing glasses again for driving a couple of months ago. I would pay to have Laser treatment again but I'm going to have to wait (yet again) for my prescription to stabilse.
I wish there was someone available seven years ago to tell me it may not be permanent! As stupid as it may sound, I was absolutely devastated when my eyes started to deteriorate again - to the point where I would actually say I was depressed!

Scoobydoo... sorry to hear about your problems :-(
However, the reason they can't guarentee it's permanent is that the procedure hasn't been around long enough to see the long term effects... surely that was even more the case 7 years ago when you had yours done? We're you actually told it was guarenteed forever?? Maybe you could sue!
