To purge my soul I go out and have an aggressive garden weeding session. By the time I've finished, I usually find that enjoying the sunshine and listening to the birds has calmed me down.
If it's pouring with rain, then it has to be clearing out my cupboards and wardrobes accompanied by some lively classical organ music, Mozart, or an Albinoni Horn Concerto.
But I have to confess that since I retired, a lot of the stress of working life has just faded away. Hang on in there dot. one day you'll be able to walk away from all those bunions and corns and leave them all behind.
