someone came up with the lyrics of a song that was in my head earlier today now i have 2 others stuck - help google a no go again
number 1 plinky pop type song
something about a "dream kitchen"

"you can blah blah blah
you can dry your hair
but if you make a wish in your dream kitchen
it won't get you anywhere"

number 2 (another plinky pop song played a lot at the end of the 80's on my local radio station, possibly by the same person/band)
cant really remember lyrics but definately something about cloud eight/cloud nine

First one is the Frazier Chorus and Dream Kitchen circa 1988

I was so into Frazier Chorus!! But haven't listened to them for years. Dream Kitchen also had lines like:

And on a different day
You took a small car and you drove it away
This stuff�s so kind to my hands
I�m never gonna change to a different brand

And Cloud Eight was something like 'Don't worry if you can't find cloud nine, You'll find your fate on cloud eight'

Think I'll have to dust off my old collection...

Erm...no it isn't. As has already been correctly answered twice, it's Cloud 8 by The Frazier Chorus.

Interesting, Kazza... I have the albums 'Sue', 'Ray' and the obscure third and last one (can't remember the title - cover photo is of baby bottles), all on CD - plus all the singles on 12" vinyl. I like the sound of 'really expensive'!!
