Does anybody know if Perleche is anything to do with an under active Thyroid, if not, do you know what causes it?

nothing to do with the thyroid....google says its innflammation and soreness at the corners of the mouth
Apparently perleche is something to do with bacteria..like candida (thrush).

it can be associated with several diseases (diabetes being one) but this doesn't neccesarily mean that everyone with perleche has a serious disease.

I haven't heard of it being connected to thyroid problems.

Thanks your responses.

I've had this Perleche for a couple of years now and it started off being worse in the winter, but now it seems to be just as bad in the summer. Somebody suggested I try Viit B Complex, which I have been taking, but it hasn't cleared up. Perhaps I'll mention it to the doctor next time I go. Maybe I'm lacking in something else.
