Birkenstock sandals

The inside soles of my Birkenstock sandals are looking rather stained and sweaty. How best can I freshen them up? Will they stand soap and water?

if you have the toe post flat birkenstock then the insole is probably leather, an aerosol or foam applicated suede or leather cleaner would work fine, u can get them in any shoe repair shop, also, once u have cleaned them, use an aerosol spray protector for leather and suede, to avoid them getting too bad again. Prevention is the key.
