Hi, i have put fake tan on a few times recently cos of the summer! And, its been okay, ive used Piz Buin, but i did it a few days ago and it went all streaky and baad. I think its maybe cos i already had some left on, but i had exfoliated thoroughly before re-applying. Does ne1 know of a really good make of fake tan, and especially as i have dry skin, so one that moisturises? thanks!
I use the Johnsons Holiday Sun, a moisturiser that gradually builds up a tan. Not easy to streak and colour not bad. Olay, Nivea & Dove also do one as well. I streak with every fake tan I've ever used, even professionally applied ones but this seems to be quite fool proof. You don't get a deep colour straight away so you don't look like you've been Tangoed or anything.
I can only speak for the Johnsons one, which I find moisturisers well, they also do a separate one for the face. The only draw back is the smell, it has got essence of fake tan about it. I bought the Dove one yesterday as that doesn't smell so will see how that goes, have been reliably informed that the colour is as good as Johnsons and they also do 2 shades one for darker skin and one for lighter skin. I didn't notice a separate one for the face so will just use the Johnsons face one.
Ok cool, yeah i remember someone mentioning the smell of the Johnsons one. Let me know how the Dove one is as i am going to have to exfoliate this streaky stuff off and start again hehe! Thanks!
Hi I use the johnson one for body and face. I find it very good. Have tried Dove as well but the colour isnt that good. But the smell of the johnson one is terrible, it smells like you are cooking. Never the less I am still using it. The only trouble I have are my feet, I just can't seem to get them right. any tips.?.?
i have been using ambre soliare misurising bronzer. it moisturises for 12 hours and the colour is fab. you only need to use it once or twice a week and it smells gorgeous!! it is a bit more expensive then johnsons and dove but well worth it
