More tattoo stuff

Hi,

Following on from nursecarla - I was saying that I would like a new tattoo - possibly 3 stars on my hip bone....

Firstly can anyone give me a good idea for the star design....I would like to be able to add an extra star as my family grows

Also, would my hip be a good place? I'm planning to have another baby in the next year or so and I don'w want to ruin it with a nasty stretch mark. I've already got one on my lower back & I don't want it to be on show all the time (eg arm/shoulder/foot) but don't know where else I could get it.

Just thinking about design, I suppose they might be interlinking stars (somehow), seeing as it represents your family.

not to lecture you or anything but i assume you are young, late twenties or so. what are you going to think of this permanent tatoo 20 years from now?

I understand what you're saying, but I've thought about it long and hard and that is one of the reasons why I want in a place than can be easily covered.

It will be to celebrate my 30th birthday - and to represent familt - 1 star for each decade & 1 star each for my son, my husband and myself!

I've had a tattoo on my lower back for about 5 yrs now and I still love it.

Have you considered cutting? It is the original method of tattooing and gives you 2 options to fill the scar with ink or just leave it as it is. I had mine done and filled with white ink. Now it is a very faint raised scar almost invisible yet somehow eye catching. It certainly is different.
