OK I know this is only cyberspace, but if someone posted something nasty on here about you, would you take it to heart. Even though most of us use a nickname or just something made up, would it hurt you.

No, I wouldn't take it to heart but i would not forget what they said and I would get them back later when the time is right, it all depends on your own personality really.

If it's from someone you've known (cyberly speaking) for a while as a lot of us have, yes you can be offended or hurt by them. However if it's someone who you dont know (again cyberly) then narrrr it's water off duck's back.

i think it could be something to do with the fact that when you use a nickname or username you are pretty much anonymous and certain people are a lot more brave when they aren't in a one to one situation

hiya bez...i am a very sensitive person, but on here, it makes me laugh! only 4 people on here really know me so if anyone else posted anything nasty about me it wouldnt bother me because i know they dont know what they are talking about(if that makes any sense!!) if it was to offend my family and friends, thats a different matter, that would hurt-cyberspace or not.
