I am fat, very fat, and most of it is around my belly (and my boobs). I am losing weight now that I have found the perfect diet (low GI).
I am trying to tone my belly up as I lose weight so that I have no loose skin when I finish my diet. Is there any exercises that I can do at the computer or when I am around town? Will 'big pants with loadsa elastic' keep the belly in and help tone it too?
I am walking and cycling too - building it up slowly.
Little brother has promised to take me to a Stargate Convention if I get down to 16 stone by the end of October 2006. "Little brother" is 38, so that makes me about 21 again and again and again..
hiya sue.
visit your local fitness centre. get some advice from experts and build your exercise up gradualy.... i say the same to anyone that wants to improve fitness or loose weight.. TRY SWIMMING.... its good for the muscles, the heart and lungs and its all done in water !
a mate of mine has one of those electric pad thingys that tense the muscles by passing current thro them you could try that but dont put it on your arms as he did cause he couldnt turn it off hahahahahahah
Not very easy to describe this but you can pull in your lower abs just sitting, standing. Imagine you're pulling the muscles in towards your tummy button and the base of your spine. Remeber your posture, sit up straight and just be conscious of tightening your stomach muscles. Also if you're sitting at desk with legs bent and just raise your feet a couple of inches of the floor and hold for a second or two, again keep your back straight.
