Whats the best thing that you have done for your partner when it was there birthday?

I made Mr Cat a family tree for his 30th got it all framed, he said he loved it.

Threw a surprise birthday party for him in our usual haunt. I texted all his mates asking them to make out that they were busy and couldn't meet him for his birthday, he was so depressed!
So I told him that I was taking him out for "a quiet drink" and when we walked in the pub, there were all of his friends cheering :)

Best birthday ever he said!

I took mrs sparx to New York fo 3 days , it was very tiring but she really enjoyed it, we had a great time

As a Christmas present I commissioned an artist well known for his black and white drawings to produce a large framed black & white picture of the church in which we were married.

Seriously though, I took her to London for a day and a night. I had tickets for Blood Brothers, took her shopping (I HATE shopping!!) for whatever she wanted and a nice meal. This was before we moved in together, so spending the night together was rather good too.

I was really lost as to what to buy my partner for his 30th, so i bought him a telescope, maps of the moon and a camera stand. He takes the most beautiful pictures of the moon now, (he loves photography) and they make nice little pressies for family.....

I booked a whole suite at a hotel in the country - there was champagne and strawberries in the room,which had a 4 poster bed that looked onto a lake with swans on......bliss!

I upgraded my fainces bike without telling him and asked him to put my car away in the garage. When he opened the door there was him new dream bike waiting for him!!

I hhave never seen anyone so speechless!!

I bought my husband a drum kit for his 30th birthday - he'd wanted one for years.

I got the guy to deliver it while he was at work - he was so shocked when he came home as it was totally unexpected!!

He hardly gets to play it as we live in a flat but still has a bang about when the neoghbours are out - he can't wait for us to move to a bigger house so he can have his own music room!

He is taking me to Dublin for my 30th next month - I can't wait!

for my husbands 40th birthday i surprised him with a romantic meal,his best friend came to visit without him knowing and i gave him a flying lesson which was a total shock but he loved it. thought he was top gun.

my husband booked me a day at a spa with loads of treatments for my christmas treat. It was the biggest surprise of my life, even the kids were in on the secret He managed to get me there under false pretences even though I was moaning like hell coz i wanted to go shopping! When i found out that i was to spend the day there i just burst into tears. The girl behind the counter was very bemused. Probably not the normal reaction they see there.
