I'm curious, do you press them to check they're still there?
maybe a ghost attacking you?

i hope not
Ghosts make marks just the same! Perhaps you have some sort of neuralgia (sp?) which causes your discomfort?
Hey somebody17 - are you sure they're bruises? It really sounds like you have a problem with your sinuses,in which case this can make the areas around your nose/eyes/upper mouth/forhead feel incredibly bruised and painful. You should get that checked by a doctor as the pressure could build and make the pain worse.
Alternatively, you could have nasty painful spots/boils under the surface which feel tender and are often hormonal - I'd see a doctor either way - and don't be afraid to post in Body and Soul again (even if it does seem like some people exloit this forum - and every forum for idle chat..)
it could be allergies.
how do you know they are bruises if you cant see them
because it feels bruised. If it an actual bruise witch hazel should help bring it out. Though it doesn as already mentioned sound like a sinus thing.
Yeah i get them too, mostly on my cheekbone under my right eye, just below the hairline on my forehead, and my jawbone. Don't know what causes them though.
if they are invisible then they are not bruises - a bruise by its definition is when the blood comes to the surface and discolours
