Dating site recommendations from fellas please

Hi guys This post IS NOT meant to fuel debate, nor is it meant top provoke abuse from females. Right..............................any recommendations please for internet dating sites where the women ARE NOT - anti-men, screwed-up, into playing games, rude, arrogant, "up" themsleves nor against civil and thoughtful communication? Hopefully these will also be sites where the women ARE - genuinely looking to meet people for relationships, willing to put in 50/50 effort, take an interest in their potential suitors as human beings and generally behave like normal people. T.I.A.

Can't say I know much about dating sites, but aren't they all of the same mould? Should imagine you'll get a mixture of both and good from them all.

You will never get that on a dationg site because all people are different. Aswell as the two sides of a woman you have described there are blokes that like the first you described or are even like that themselves and find someone they have alot in common with and the can both moan about their past. Boring I know but people like all different sorts of people so dating sites will always acount for every taste :-) I mean what is NORMAL nowadays. :-)

I can't recommend any Surreyguy as I've never had much luck with any, but I will keep an eye on this post as I'm a woman who would like to find a site where the guys aren't all of the things you mention!

4getmenot - Have you tried dating sites? I have no problem with meeting someone with whom I have things in common. What i'm saying is that I KEEP getting women who SAY they are like me and want someone like me, but then I find out they AREN'T and DON'T! So............in summary I want a dating site that doesn't constantly introduce me to "the wrong kind"! :o)

you get weirdod and you dont get weirdos, no different from real life, woman say one thing then trap you and want another but also same with blokes and even more so on the net as people can be anything they want to be. You just have to keep trying :-)

You can create a profile, upload a pic and chat to who you like really. Some are just there for a bit of banter and others are looking for long-term partners - but they tend to state pretty much what they are looking for up front.

I'm still getting answers to my profile on girlsdateforfree.com which i put up over a year ago, you need to pay to read the messages but its only like a tenner for 3months or something. Most of them seem ok though i've only met up with 6 of them so far. Good luck!

I saw a thing on telly and it's a site where you get a friend to put you on, they describe you etc and say what your likes are and all that. Apparently it makes for a much more honest dating site. I have to nip out but when i get back I'll try to find out what it was called for you. Worth a try perhaps.

Yes, i'm sure they do have the profile/pic thing!! My point was that this one is not the sort of thing that 'pairs' you up with some nutter... you can chat to girls and get to know them a bit first... perhaps for a little while longer than you currently are...? (Not a criticism - just an observation... i have no idea how long you chat before you meet.)

In essence... this site does not introduce you to the wrong kind... it doesn't work like that.

Dream world - because no one is going to own up to being any of those things, and yet you KEEP ending up with them. No matter where you meet someone, there will always be a percentage of loons/time wasters etc.

NO 'site' will prove any different, alas... :0)

fee-is-me - my conversation time has ranged from 1 day to 1 month! The sites I've been on send me "my matches", but I also surf myself and read people's profiles. As for "percentages", I've had 100% loons, etc! :o(
